We’re lucky enough to welcome many speakers to the Faculty, hosted by our departments. Over the last few months we’ve heard from writer and policy adviser Leila Slimani, historian Diarmuid MacCulloch, writer Lionel Shriver and academic Mona Siddiqui.

Recording the Hepworth

Recording the Hepworth: An acousmatic experience beyond the soundscape. Composer Adrian Moore from the Department of Music spent time at the Hepworth Gallery recording the sounds of the environment around him; a sonic journey from the car park, over the River Calder, to the in-progress garden and through the galleries. It is the sound of the Hepworth on one day in February, when the work on the now finished garden was underway.
